Atlanta Midtown Senior Session | Trinity High School

I promised I’d follow up with Micah’s images from our dualing Senior Session! Micah is a Senior at Trinity Christian School and played with their State Championship football team. They had an amazing season this year! Micah is quiet and kind, works hard and plays hard. He will be going to UNG in their ROTC program in the fall but is planning on picking up a full year of Mandarin this summer in liguistics school. No big deal, right? I mean, how hard can Mandarin be? (Please read my sarcasm! This kid’s got brains!)

Micah and Jadon were thrown together for their Atlanta senior portraits, but we started out on Micah’s family farm for some shots in nature. That means Micah got to have his pups, KitKat and Boo, in his portraits, and we went over to what the family calls the “football field” portion of the property to show off his jersey. I truly love doing sessions in someone’s personal space because then it really is unique and has meaning for them!

We then started our Atlanta tour, and as I mentioned before, these boys were amazing! Piedmont Park showed off the Atlanta Skyline beautifully, the Beltline is perfect for an urban feel, and we finished up at Skyview Park on Ponce City Market. Some things that don’t happen if you don’t have a friend with you?

1. Let’s be honest, it’s a little more boring. No one to joke with (except your witty photographer), and it takes some pressure off of being in the spotlight the whole time.
2. You don’t scale huge concrete walls to get shots up in the air!
3. You may be stuck in certain parts of areas unless someone has the chutzpah to walk around like you own the place and find the best view from the building. I’ll leave enough vagueness there to protect the innocent!

I had a blast with these guys and I will never get over how agreeable they were to try anything and walk Five-ever all over Atlanta! Enjoy Micah’s shots!
